Gabriella Stern
Director of Communications
World Health Organization
Mark is a multi-media producer at WHO but this description does not capture the full range of what he does, the range of his skills, and his impact. Mark runs our television studio, connecting WHO to the world's media as well as the world’s global health sector, from our employees in 150 countries to our Member States to our myriad partners in academia, research, medicine and more. Mark has coordinated countless press conferences (during the pandemic our senior leadership hosted daily press conferences), news media interviews, productions of every sort (video speeches, scientific explainers etc), and special virtual events. But “coordination” does not capture the fact that he has been instrumental in the initial planning stages right through to the delivery and amplification of finished products and outputs.
Mark can problem-solve under pressure from the studio and from the field, including covering health emergencies in conflict and natural disaster settings, and working closely with WHO’s Director-General, global leaders and public health decision-makers. He brings a big brain, broad skills and a good heart to all that he does, and I am at your disposal if you have further questions about this stellar professional.

Team Lead Social Media
World Health Organization
I have had the pleasure of working with Mark at the World Health Organization, where he has proven to be an invaluable colleague. Mark has successfully produced numerous social media live events, ensuring that guests are hosted in a state-of-the-art studio and are well-coached on delivery and presentation. His expertise extends to commissioning multimedia products to external suppliers, showcasing his ability to manage complex projects with ease.
Mark's talent in shooting social media content is evident through his work during the World Health Assembly, special events, and various interviews. His contributions are critical to the digital unit at the World Health Organization, and his dedication and skill have significantly enhanced our digital presence. Mark brings creativity, technical proficiency, and a collaborative spirit and helps us do science communication effectively.

Mark Nieuwenhof is an excellent producer/ videographer who comes to each and every shoot with creativity, technical ability and personability. He is multi-talented and can shoot features and openings and event coverage ( even stuck on a freezing mountain top in Whitehorse, Yukon.)
He has delved into other areas such as documentaries and commercial and corporate production and has a wide variety of skills and experience. He works well with the team but knows how to work independently and without supervision and you are sure to get back great results.
I would highly recommend Mark.
